We know starting orthodontic treatment can come with a lot of questions. Here are answers to some of the most common questions patients and families have before getting started.

No. You do not need a referral to schedule a consultation with us. Whether your dentist recommends an orthodontic evaluation or you have concerns of your own, you’re welcome to contact our office directly.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children have their first orthodontic check-up by age 7. At this age, an orthodontist can evaluate how the teeth and jaws are developing and identify concerns early. An evaluation at age 7 does not necessarily mean your child will need treatment right away.

Yes! Orthodontic treatment isn't just for children and teens. We provide personalized orthodontic care for adults as well, with treatment options based on each patient's individual needs.

Treatment time varies from patient to patient and depends on your individual needs and treatment plan. After your evaluation, Dr. Orabi can discuss what to expect for your specific treatment.
